English: Live on Monday, the 18th of February, 2013. Székely flag flying on the Houses of Parliament, Downtown Budapest, Magyarország. The Sun, the Moon and the Stars were the symbols of the peoples of the Puszta Belt, stretching from the North of China to the western end of the Carpathian Basin. These nations held, that they had originated from Nimrod, who was symbolised by the Nimrod constellation (Orion at the Greeks). The Carpathian Basin - as the western end of the Puszta Belt - was the melting pot of Scytian, Hun, Avar and Hungarian peoples, among others the Hungarian speaking Székelys. The Székelys are Hungarians, who were part of Hun army, defeating the Roman Empire at Catalaenum, Gallia (Now France). At that time, the capital of the Hun Empire was in the Carpathian Basin, at the river Tisza. After the battle, a part of the the huns, fighting at Catalaunum settled near the territory, now known as the Székely Land. At the eastern frontierland of the Kingdom of Hungary, They were defending the eastern frontiers of the Hungarian Kingdom – and western christiandom in Europe - as freemen. Székelys have succeeded in preserving their traditions to an extent unusual even in Central and Eastern Europe. The most comprehensive description of the Székely Land and its traditions was written between 1859-1868 by Balázs Orbán in his Description of the Székely Land. The Székely flag is the flag of the Székelys.
